Feb 2007 · Wizard Entertainment · 4.99 USD

In a delightfully bizarre crossover, Doctor Strange accidentally teleports Spider-Man, Thor, and the Hulk to the Mushroom Kingdom, where he meets his end at the hands of a surprisingly aggressive Yoshi. With Strange gone, Mario steps in as their unlikely guide—only to face his own peril when he’s impaled, prompting Luigi’s brief but tragic appearance. As the heroes navigate through surreal levels including a tennis match and a warp zone, Thor undergoes a bizarre transformation, Hulk grows to monstrous size, and the team ultimately confronts Bowser before discovering the princess is missing. They escape in a kart, leaving the mystery unresolved. Written by Pat McCallum, Zach Oat, Justin Aclin, Jon Gutierrez, and Chris Ward, this wild mash-up blends superhero chaos with classic platforming charm.

Doctor Strange teleports Spider-Man, Thor, Hulk, and himself to the Mushroom Kingdom. Strange is killed by Yoshi, so Mario comes to be their guide. Hulk falls down a sewer pipe and Mario is impaled on a pole. Luigi appears, but falls and dies, allowing Mario to come back. Hulk returns. Thor is shrunken, Hulk grows, and Thor gets a tail and the ability to fly. They go through worlds 2-2, 2-3, tennis, then warp to the end. Hulk eats Bowser, but the princess isn't there, so they take a kart home.
