Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #119

Jul 2007 · Wizard Entertainment · 4.99 USD; 5.99 CAD

In this wild, irreverent issue of Toyfare: The Toy Magazine, a surreal showdown erupts when Spider-Man refuses to reveal his identity, sparking a full-blown clash between Captain America’s team and Iron Man’s forces—complete with a Thor Clone, a brain-powered H.E.R.B.I.E., and a very unexpected alliance with Green Goblin, Venom, and Red Skull. As the battle rages and even trans-fats get banned, the line between hero and villain blurs, culminating in a chaotic team-up that ends not in victory, but in a joint rehab session after an F.B.I. raid. Written by Zach Oat, Justin Aclin, Jon Gutierrez, Sean T. Collins, and Chris Ward, this absurdist comic is a must-read for fans of genre-bending, over-the-top fun.
