Toyfare: The Toy Magazine #26

· Wizard Entertainment · 4.99 USD

A chaotic Senate session spirals into absurdity in this wildly imaginative Toyfare issue, where pop culture icons collide in a surreal satire of Star Wars lore. Amidala petitions the Republic, while Spider-Man and Luke Skywalker voice their disdain for a fictional movie — only to be interrupted by Darth Maul, Wookiee outrage, and a surprise reveal about Palpatine. With George Lucas making a cameo to underscore the madness, the issue blends parody, meta-commentary, and unexpected cameos in a single, gloriously weird story. Written by Pat McCallum, Tom Root, and Doug Goldstein, with art, inks, and colors by Paul Schiraldi.

The Republic Senate is in session. Amidala asks the senate for help. Spider-Man says that this movie blows, and reveals that Palpatine is Sidious. Darth Maul tries to kill him. The Wookies eat the aliens from E.T. for opposing term limits. Spider-Man continues his tirade against the movie and Luke Skywalker chimes in. When Jar Jar tries to give an explanation, the Ewoks kill him. George Lucas shows how it could be worse by having Jedi peeps in Episode II.
