In a delightfully absurd twist, Spider-Man finds himself on trial in a courtroom run by apes, defended by Daredevil and prosecuted by a jury of villains, all after a bizarre misunderstanding involving Ponch and Jon. With the help of a surprise appearance by two John Travoltas and a dramatic intervention from Mr. Fantastic, the truth behind the skull-related conspiracy begins to unravel. The story, a surreal blend of courtroom drama and superhero chaos, features sharp writing by Pat McCallum, Tom Root, and Doug Goldstein, and a wild, memorable cover by the artist behind the issue's iconic imagery.

Spider-Man is asleep and fails to answer the door when Ponch and Jon come to arrest him, so they declare him a fugitive from justice. They gather other Megos to help. The various teams end up fighting. Spider-Man comes out to quiet them down, and is arrested. He is put on trail. The judge and prosecution are apes, the jury are villains, and the defense attorney is Daredevil. The cops arrest and bring in two John Travoltas, proving there are skulls at work, and Spider-Man is innocent. Mr. Fantastic kills them, and Heston comes in and attacks the apes.
