Louise is married and has a six-year-old son, but receives a letter saying her husband Phil is leaving her for his secretary. Louise remembers their marriage, and how she gradually became "too engrossed in my work, my home, my child" to be a good wife. However, Phil comes home, admits he was "a complete fool," and Caroline forgives him. ""We'll be happier than we have ever been!"
