Two-Bit the Wacky Woodpecker tells the story of a fast-talking, adventurous woodpecker dressed as a cowboy who encounters rabbits burrowing under the ground and attempts to eliminate them as pests using various comedic methods, including a shotgun. After failing to catch the rabbits in the garden, Two-Bit encounters them again and they engage in a chaotic chase. The issue also includes an anthology story, "Tumbleweed Tim and Chuck," featuring two cowboys discovering a hidden treasure map and becoming partners to search for the treasure, though a dispute arises over how to split their potential riches.

Two-Bit the Wacky Woodpecker

Two-Bit the Wacky Woodpecker takes on a case when a woman hires him to shadow her fiancé, convinced he's stepping out with another lady—leading our feathered gumshoe through an escalating series of disguises and mishaps as he tails his target through town. What Two-Bit doesn't realize is that the truth behind this mystery is far more complicated than a simple case of infidelity, and his determination to stay on the job puts him through the wringer. It's a wacky romp that proves even the world's greatest private eye can get more than he bargained for when love and loyalty collide.
