“Two-Step, Part 3”

In "Two-Step, Part 3," Warren Ellis teams up with Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Paul Mounts, and Ken Lopez for a wild, kinetic ride as Rosi and Tony find themselves trapped in a high-stakes chase with a twist: Dirty Ron’s bizarre "power" turns cars into explosive targets. With the city skyline on the verge of detonation, the duo must rely on quick thinking, a trusty scooter, and Tony’s calm under pressure to survive. The cover by Amanda Conner captures the chaos and momentum of the moment perfectly.

Rosi and Tony are caught in a crossfire and nabbed by gangsters. They're turned over to Dirty Ron, whose "superpower" is to shag things that then explode, except his fetish is cars. The bad guys tweak Ron's head-computer to see Rosi and Tony as cars to be shagged to death. Rosi hacks the feed and turns Ron on the bad guys. With the explosion imminent, they bound on a scooter and crash through a window. Using Tony's zen, they coast down the building side before it explodes. Deciding they like each other, they zen-scoot down the Thames River into the sunset.
