An anthology of three air force stories: "Powerhouse's Secret" follows the tough, hard-eating flyboy Perkins as he becomes involved in a sinister operation known as Operation Duck, where an airline has been giving him jobs to cover up the truth. "Road to Courage" chronicles Air Cadet Jimmy Stanton's struggle to overcome his fear of flying and cowardice, ultimately discovering that the forgiven lie helps him achieve victory over himself. A third story depicts soldiers under attack by enemy planes, with female personnel caught in the crossfire during a bombing raid that damages their aircraft, forcing them to weigh surrender against continued resistance.
