Peter looks up the son of his dad's old science partner and he and Eddie discover the legacy their fathers left to them--a symbiotic suit designed to cure human ailments. Peter secretly uses the suit as a costume until he discovers its negative side effects and disposes of it. Confessing what he has done to Eddie, his one-time pal dons the suit and becomes Venom, vowing vengeance on Peter for his duplicity and deceit.
