Uncanny Tales #13
In "The Fabulous Misfit!", Ed Farraday’s quiet life at the old Farraday Mansion takes a surreal turn when a recurring dream of walking through a wall and toward a bright light leads him to a hidden chamber—and a treasure chest that transforms his home. Fred Kida’s expressive art brings the dreamlike mystery to life, while Ogden Whitney’s striking cover captures the story’s whimsical intrigue. A 1/- comic from the Alan Class era, this tale blends quiet desperation with sudden wonder, all in a single, perfectly paced adventure.
