“In the Dead of Night”

"In the Dead of Night" delivers a haunting, dreamlike twist on the world of boxing, as a fighter’s determination outlives his body in a surreal, ghostly echo. Written by Carl Wessler and brought to life with moody, expressive art by Gray Morrow, the story lingers in the space between will and fate. The cover, by Bill Everett, captures the eerie atmosphere with a striking, shadowed image that hints at the unseen forces at play.
