Uncanny Tales #56
In "The Glass Man," a scientist's experimental model of the solar system grants him eerie glimpses into past and future events—until his curious cat accidentally activates it, briefly turning the creature into a floating, visible projection seen by passersby. With a delicate balance between wonder and caution, the inventor faces a growing unease about the consequences of tampering with time, ultimately deciding to dismantle the device. Art by Ruben Moreira, with colors by Stan Goldberg, and a striking cover by Fred Kida, this 1957 issue offers a quietly unsettling glimpse into the mind of a man pushing the limits of science.

A scientist builds a miniature representation of the solar system which somehow allows him to observe events in the past and future. When his cat jumps into the device, it becomes suspended and people outside on the street see an image of the animal. He dismantles the device as he is concerned about the possible effects damage to the model Earth could have on the real Earth.
