Editor Read Barker of the Dogopolis National Intruder exhorts his employees to obtain information on the caped hero, Undie Dog. Mild mannered ace reporter is secretly Undie Dog, and sets out to get an exclusive on himself. After accidentally aiding the "Purple Marshmallow Marauder" in a purse snatching, he transforms and pursues. After accidentally aiding him in a comic book snatching and being defeated in combat, he tricks the Marauder onto the subway's electrified third rail. Fleagle is complimented on his reporting by Barker while eating... marshmallows.
