In the Caribbean, a professor investigates what he thinks is the giant statue of a man lying at the bottom of the shallow waters. After a small earthquake in the area, the statue disappears. It turns out it was an Atlantian who had passed out. The Atlantians are gigantic humans with gill slits and the Earthquake was him waking up and returning to Atlantis.
