The second volume of Olivier Milhiet's Vénosa arrives with a striking cover that sets an immediately tense mood: a spiky-haired, golden-clad warrior crouches amid a scene of devastation, twin blades in hand, a dark cape billowing behind him as crumbling ruins and fallen bodies surround him beneath a cold teal sky. The subtitle — Tant d'autres qu'on ne peut les compter ("So many others that we cannot count them") — hints at the scale of conflict this young fighter has apparently faced. Published by Delcourt in 2020, this is a visually atmospheric entry in the series that fans of European fantasy comics will want to seek out.
