Paula, Joyce and Candy meet to share their day. Joyce tells of her cruise with a wealthy man who will call again tomorrow; Candy tells of bumping into her dream man in the rain who wants to phone her tomorrow; and Paula admits to her brief meeting on the beach with a man who said he would come back but didn't. She is feeling down when her friends confess their men were frauds and aren't coming back. The three decide all men are liars—just as Paula's boy returns. He's cancelled his time with mates to come back for Paula.
