Jill is excited when she receives a letter from the boy she met on holiday, but can't find a quiet place to read the letter. In particular, she keeps running into the boy next door who is trying to find a place to practice his trombone without upsetting her. When she finally reads the letter, she learns that the boy on holiday has a fiancee and had lied to her. But she sees a lot of her trombone playing neighbor after that and decides she might as well get used to his playing since she loves him.
