Alice meets brothers Rob and Jamie who are fighting about spending their savings. She's initially attracted to Jamie, who sensibly wants to buy a business. But when Jamie falls for Gloria who is helping him buy a business, Alice goes to Germany with Rob, who has spent his share on a trip for two to a footbal match. Gloria robs Jamie and both brothers end up broke. They return to working in motorway contruction.
