Valentine #6 May 1972
In "The Sound of Love," Marty and Shena make a desperate climb up the mountain on the last cable-car to rescue Karen, only to find her trapped with Clint in a remote hut. With Clint's dangerous drug smuggling associates approaching by helicopter and his paranoia turning violent, the trio’s escape becomes a race against time—when gunfire erupts during their descent, triggering a deadly avalanche. The story, illustrated with tense precision by Enrique Montserrat, builds to a harrowing climax where survival hangs in the balance. This 1972 IPC release, a 0.04 GBP comic, captures a moment of raw tension in a stark, snowbound setting.
