Venom #8
In "Où est l'ennemi, 3ème partie : Le pouvoir de Rahn," Venom and Morbius confront a shocking revelation: the imprisoned Charlie Palene is none other than the newly elected mayor Charles Palentin. As the Black Jester emerges from the shadows, leading an army of gremlins and seizing the magical necklace, the tide of the battle shifts in a way no one expected—when he commands the creatures to drown in the river, his true allegiance becomes clear. Written by Bruce Jones and Sophie Viévard, with art by Bob McLeod and inks by Harry Candelario, this 1997 issue features a striking cover by Liam Sharp.
