Vigilante Annual #2
In "Trials and Tribulations," Adrian faces a courtroom trial for the death of Alan Welles, a moment that unravels a hidden past: he confesses to Harry, the prosecution’s key witness, that he was the original Vigilante—and that Alan was his successor, killed in self-defense. As Harry deliberately sabotages the case to free Adrian, a new Vigilante, Dave, takes on the dangerous duo Saber and Cannon while hunting the shadowy mastermind behind a rising mob war. Written by Paul Kupperberg and brought to life by Ross Andru’s dynamic art and Tony DeZuniga’s inks, with coloring by Liz Berube and letters by John Workman, this 1986 annual features a striking cover by Brian Bolland.
