Walt Disney Comics Digest #35
In "The Jinxed Jalopy Race," Duckburg’s annual Mistletoe Ball gets a wild twist when a high-stakes auto race determines who’ll dance with Queen Daisy—only Donald and Gladstone manage to start, thanks to a series of sabotage-filled shenanigans. Written and drawn by Carl Barks, with inks and colors by the Western Publishing Production Shop, this 1972 classic blends slapstick chaos and classic Disney charm, all capped by a cover by Paul Murry that captures the race’s zany energy.
