Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #6 (78)
In "Soap in Hamburgers," Carl Barks delivers a classic slice of chaos as Donald Duck finds himself entangled in a web of mistaken value and misplaced trust. When a sudden offer of $1,000 for a stack of oil stocks sends Donald into a panic, he rushes to secure his fortune—only to lock away not just the shares, but also the jam he’d just scolded the nephews for stealing, leaving himself locked out of his own safe. The cover, a vibrant collaboration by Walt Kelly and Carl Buettner, captures the moment with all the exaggerated flair of a 1947 comic strip.

Donald is about to burn what he believes to be some worthless oil stock, when a call from his broker informs him that a client is willing to pay $1,000 for the shares. Previously unconcerned over the string of burglaries in his neighborhood, Donald now panics and buys a heavy safe to protect the stocks until the sale is completed. Angered at the boys sneaking jam from the cupboard, Donald also locks the jar of jam in the safe for good measure... and forgets the combination.
