Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #9 (261)
In "Medaling Around," Goofy’s routine trip to the supermarket turns into a quirky chase when he spots a cereal box with the prized box top number 23—key to entering a ship blueprint puzzle contest. But his quiet quest is interrupted when Black Pete’s henchman Filch tries to steal it, leading to a swift arrest and a new mystery that sets Mickey and Goofy on a surprising adventure. Written by Carl Fallberg and brought to life with energetic art by Paul Murry—both inks and colors—and a classic cover by Carl Barks, this 1962 Dell gem captures the charm and whimsy of the Disney universe in a 15-cent comic.
