When Scrooge tries to protect his fortune by burying it underground, he accidentally sends his gold beneath the land where Grandpa Beagle has been living—right under the Beagle Boys’ noses. With Donald and the nephews caught in the crossfire, a money-filled mess unfolds as greed, mistaken directions, and family ties collide.

Gyro Gearloose builds a mechanical scarecrow to protect his strawberry patch from crows, but his eager assistant, Gyro's Helper, has already taken matters into his own paws—inspired by the legend of Thor, he’s been single-handedly driving off the birds with dramatic flair. Old Blackie, the crow, watches from above, wondering if this time the scarecrow might actually be worth the trouble.

Uncle Scrooge sets out to collect a long-overdue loan, only to be met with fierce resistance from the borrower’s dog. Undaunted by the barking barrier, Scrooge devises a clever plan to get past the canine guard and finally settle the debt.

Uncle Scrooge, ever the meticulous money-minded duck, grows uneasy with a nagging sense of forgetfulness—so he heads straight to his money bin to double-check the vault locks. But after a thorough inspection, he pauses, realizing with a chuckle that he’d already installed a self-locking door that very morning.
