Uncle Scrooge is racing against the Beagle Boys and a cast of eccentric rivals to reach a newly discovered moon made entirely of gold—only to find that the wealthy Rajah of Eyesore, already there, has turned it into his own private treasure vault. With his usual mix of cunning and greed, Scrooge must outwit both the Beagle Boys and the Venusian tycoon in a high-stakes game of riches and wits.

Gyro Gearloose sets up a small house on Cyclone Hill to test his latest invention—the anti-cyclone alarm—only to be baffled when it suddenly blares, despite the sky being perfectly still. With Gyro's Helper on hand to help sort out the mystery, the duo finds themselves caught in a whirlwind of confusion, as the alarm’s warning seems to have a mind of its own.
