Walt Disney Scamp #2
In "The Friendly Feline," Scamp, Speedy, and Trusty venture into an old, abandoned house that Trusty insists is haunted—though his bravado can't quite mask his nerves. Written by Del Connell and brought to life with expressive art by Al Hubbard (pencils and inks), this 1969 Western Publishing tale captures the playful tension of three pups testing their courage, with Trusty’s quiet fear making the hunt for him all the more endearing. The cover, also by Al Hubbard, perfectly frames the story’s whimsical suspense.
