“Wasted Words”

In "Wasted Words," Scrooge McDuck sets off on a daring journey to Africa to bid on a gold mine, taking Donald and the nephews along for the adventure. When their plane is shot down by Flintheart Glomgold’s rival aircraft, the ducks must trek across the wilderness—riding on animals summoned by the nephews’ Junior Woodchuck whistles—while evading Glomgold’s relentless pursuit. Written, drawn, and inked by Carl Barks, with cover art also by Barks, this 1966 Western Publishing classic captures the spirit of classic Disney adventure at its most spirited.
