This anthology issue contains multiple humorous stories: "Crackers & Co.: The Barmy Builders" by Proth, in which a worker breaks his shovel and his boss tells him to get another one, leading to complications including a brother in an asylum and the boss eventually falling off a ladder; "The Pie-Can Pioneers," a Western comedy featuring characters searching for valuable items in an old paper and discussing their treasure hunt strategy; and "Uncle Alf," a slapstick tale of a man searching through a building for someone named Keyes, repeatedly encountering locked doors and obstacles before finally discovering what appears to be a hidden stash or trap door.
