Mainspring sends Template to take over the New York Stock Exchange where he runs up against the Avengers and Spider-Man. Warlock and crew take the fight to Mainspring's base and try to convince him that the activities of a phalanx tower will draw the Magus who will destroy the world. As Mainspring aids the kids in taking out the tower's power source, Magus arrives.
