This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "Out of Blackness They Come!" follows two men who explore darkness and discover they can create infinite blackness using combined lights of different colors and intensities, leading to a supernatural climax involving ghostly creatures. A second tale involves a theatrical agent and performers including a character named Skane, where a trick gun with bullet holes is used in a stage act, culminating in a revelation that Skane is undead. A third story features a character named Bertie Evans who, after drinking too much grog at a bar, encounters ghostly sea creatures and a large aquatic monster while fleeing through foggy streets.

7 pp · Horror-Suspense

In a fog-drenched French sea port, fishermen battle monstrous merman-creatures rising from the deep, their eyes glowing like drowned stars. Only old Fernande survives the night, her hands trembling as she places a severed finger from the sea's horror on display—its red-tinted flesh still pulsing under the light.

True Tales of Unexplained Mystery # 35
1 pp · Horror-Suspense

In the shadowed world of the traveling circus, where secrets are as thick as the sawdust on the big top floor, Sideshow freak Bruno receives a new tattoo—a devil’s figure inked in dark, unnatural lines. The moment it’s done, a cold dread settles over him, and the mark begins to twist, tightening like a living noose. The story of how a simple design becomes a death sentence still chills those who hear it, whispered only in hushed tones beneath the flickering lights of the midway.

In a 1953 tale of eerie spectacle, Professor Skane puts on a macabre stage act featuring a zombie who can't be killed—until a female zombie companion, representing the undead's union, arrives to shut down the exploitation. With eerie precision and a chilling sense of justice, she makes her presence known in a way that leaves the stage—and the audience—unforgettable.

Evil Twangs the Devil's Harp
7 pp · Horror-Suspense

In 1787 London, a down-on-his-luck drunkard named Bertie stumbles upon a cursed instrument—the devil's harp—and finds sudden fame as a musician. As his talent draws crowds and royal acclaim, the music begins to carry a darker tune, one that summons unseen horrors from the shadows.
