In "The Man from the Moon," a man plucked from Earth is taken to the moon, where his body is transformed into a machine to endure its harsh air. Over a century later, he returns to a ruined Earth, where the remnants of humanity have devolved into beastmen. He chooses to leave it all behind and return to the moon forever.
In "The Worm Turns," a colossal worm terrorizes a military outpost, forcing soldiers to retreat underground after their weapons prove ineffective. When they finally unleash an atomic bomb to end the threat, the explosion seems to destroy the beast—though something far more unsettling begins to stir in the aftermath.
In "Else You'll Be Dead," a man's trust shatters during a treacherous mountain climb, driving him to act on a suspicion that twists into violence. As the press mourns his apparent accidental fall, the true weight of his choice hangs in the cold silence of the peaks.
In a quirky twist of lunar life, Jumpin' Jupiter stumbles upon a dying moon being stranded in the desert, his arms locked in a comically opposite pose. With a mix of humor and heart, Jupiter helps the creature find a new purpose—directing traffic on the moon’s bustling highways.
In a chilling twist of sibling rivalry, Mabel schemes to inherit their father’s fortune by poisoning her sister—only to find herself the victim when the tables turn and she’s reduced to the size of a tack by a cleverly swapped shrinking potion.
