“The End of an Outlaw?”

In "The End of an Outlaw?", Kid Colt finds himself caught between justice and duty when a train robbery lands him a chance at a pardon from the Governor he saves. But when the Governor is in danger again, Kid Colt must choose between serving time and breaking out to protect the man who could free him—putting his outlaw status back on the line. Written by Denny O'Neil and brought to life by Werner Roth’s art with inks by Herb Trimpe and lettering by Artie Simek, the cover by Gil Kane captures the tension of a man torn between two worlds.
