This anthology issue contains "Lobo Terror," a Red Roan story by Dick Kraus in which a wild stallion named Red Roan leads his herd of mares and colts through the Yaqui valley while homesteader Jeff Baker and other settlers plan to move through the mountains; Red Roan must protect his herd from a pack of timber wolves led by a powerful black wolf called Lobo. Additionally, the issue features a Gabby Hayes story involving a stage line business where Gabby creates an unconventional coach as competition, leading to conflicts with a rival named Blackwig who seeks to stop Gabby's enterprise, and a Native American-themed story involving stolen jewel relics, a chief named Thundercloud, and the pursuit of a thief known as Running Beaver Head.
