This anthology issue contains two stories: "Lobo Terror," a Red Roan tale by Dick Kraus in which the wild stallion Red Roan leads his herd of mares and colts to safety through the Yaqui mountains after a pack of timber wolves led by the black wolf Lobo threatens them with starvation and attack. In a separate story, Gabby Hayes starts a stage line but faces sabotage from a rival named Blackwig; Gabby expands his business to include a railroad operation, which further enrages Blackwig and his associates. An additional story involving Native Americans features the theft of sacred tribal relics, with a character named Tony disappearing and Chief Thundercloud issuing warnings about the consequences of the theft, while the narrative continues with a chase involving beaver heads and a character named Dobie.
