Dracula turns the X-Men into vampires but Wolverine quickly attacks and kills him. The X-Men begin turning other mutants into a veritable army of the undead under the leadership of Wolverine. When Dr. Strange is killed by the Juggernaut, his astral form begins to teach the Punisher how to defeat the vampire army. The Punisher takes out many of the X-Men but is killed by Wolverine after he accidentally kills Kitty Pryde. Overcome with grief, Wolverine is convinced by the spirit of Dr. Strange to destroy himself and all the other vampires.
