Willie obtains a Sherlock Holmes outfit to play at being a detective, which leads him on the trail of a criminal and into the Mansion of Monsters, where the local monsters demand he judge which is "Mr. Monster of 1952." Fearful of disappointing any of the monsters Willie flees, then learns the Mansion of Monsters was a film publicity stunt.
