The lead story, "Port of Missing Pilots," involves Captain Wings investigating a situation at an airfield where pilots are disappearing and planes are crashing. A separate story featuring the character Suicide Smith shows him orchestrating a scheme at an airfield to make it appear planes have crashed, trapping saboteurs and avenging his brothers. The issue also includes stories with other recurring characters such as Ghost Squadron, Jane Martin, and Phantom Falcon.
