In Witchblade #3 (1997), Sara grapples with the shifting nature of the Witchblade when she discovers it can masquerade as a simple bracelet—just as she’s caught off guard by Jake’s unexpected morning visit. As Irons escalates his control through intimidation, Ian strikes back with a bold act of defiance, while Sara’s investigation into Irons is shadowed by unsettling dreams of Nottingham. Written by David Wohl, Christina Z, and Michael Turner, with art by Turner and inks by D-Tron, Jose Guillen, and Viet Truong, and colors by J. D. Smith, this issue blends personal tension with escalating stakes, all anchored by Turner’s striking cover art.
