Kenneth Irons summons Ariel to his sanctum and offers to relieve her of the Darkchylde curse. She accepts and is spending a fun night of club dancing when she is confronted by Sara Pezzini who blames her for demonic happenings all over the city. As they start to cat fight, Kenneth shows up with his new Darkchylde powers looking to take the Witchblade from Sara. When his new powers prove too much for him to handle, Ariel takes back the Darkchylde and resolves to live the best she can with her curse.
