“The Deep End Part 4”

In "The Deep End Part 4," Wolverine faces his most relentless adversary yet as Deadpool, having bested him, prepares to end his life by drowning—a method said to be one of the few that can truly kill Logan. As Deadpool drags the fight into a drawn-out monologue, the silence between words becomes a weapon, giving Daken the opening he needs to step in and claim the kill for himself. Written by Daniel Way and illustrated by Steve Dillon, with colors by Matt Milla and Avalon, this tense installment features a striking cover by Simone Bianchi and Andrea Silvestri.

Deadpool has finally beaten Wolverine and prepares to drown him to death (purportedly, one of the few ways Logan can be killed). Before he does this, however, he tries talking him to death instead. He talks so long, in fact, that it gives Daken enough time to show up and take over the killing chores for himself.
