Fury shows up to tell Logan that Daken has joined Osborn's Avengers. He then reveals the secrets of Weapon X and a family controlled by Romulus named Hudson. Frederick and Elias Hudson formed the Hudson Bay Company and their sister, Elizabeth, married John Howlett. Logan (or, rather, James) is her son. Frederick had an affair with his secretary which produced a son, Frederick, Jr. Junior had three sons: Truett who became The Professor that created Wolverine, Victor who disappeared and James who became Guardian. Fury believes that Daken, another Hudson descendant, is Romulus' ultimate Weapon X.
