Wolverine: Savage #1
In "Sushi," Wolverine finds himself in a sticky situation when a clash with the Lizard leaves a local Japanese restaurant in ruins. Forced to make amends, he steps into the kitchen—claws and all—to help prepare a special batch of sushi, only to be sent on a wild quest for the dish's mysterious secret ingredient: the eggs of a notoriously irritable sea monster. Written by Ryan Dunlavey and illustrated by Richard Elson, with vibrant colors by Veronica Gandini and sharp lettering by Dave Sharpe, this 2010 Marvel tale blends action, absurdity, and a dash of seafood horror. The cover, by J. Scott Campbell, captures the chaos with a perfectly timed splash of fish and fury.
