World of Suspense #6
In "The Old Man Of The Mountain!", a desperate thug confronts a sorcerer, demanding the six words that can send a man into limbo—only to discover too late that the power he sought comes with a price. Syd Shores handles both art and inks for this eerie 1957 tale, while Joe Letterese provides the lettering; Bill Everett’s cover captures the moment of chilling revelation. The story takes a sharp turn when the thug, having used the incantation, breaks the fourth wall—then vanishes into limbo, only to find the sorcerer waiting, laughing.
