“A Matter of Light and Death!”

In "A Matter of Light and Death!", Clark Kent finds himself manipulated into hiring thugs to kill Superman—only to wake up with no memory of the act. When Superman can't account for his missing time, he calls in Batman to unravel the mystery, leading them both into a dangerous web spun by the cunning Dr. Light. Written by Len Wein and brought to life by Dick Dillin’s dynamic art with inks by Joe Giella and letters by Ben Oda, this 1971 tale from World's Finest Comics #207 features a chilling twist on identity and control, with Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson’s cover capturing the tension in bold, classic style.
