Written by Bill Finger and illustrated by Curt Swan, with lettering by Ira Schnapp, the cover by Jack Burnley and Charles Paris captures the adventure’s tension.

The Boy Commandos and Rip are relaxing in India, and they get to remembering previous encounters with the villainous Rapier. Major Harrison and his Lancers save them from a wild boar, and they accept an invitation to visit Lancers Headquarters. A caravan guarded by Lancers is shortly due to move down through a high pass, and word has it that natives plan to attack. The Commandos and Rip tag along and enter the bandit stronghold in disguise, but are taken by The Rapier.
