An anthology comic featuring multiple stories: "Senor Tamale" follows a Mexican bird character who obtains a ride on a donkey cart and later seeks to rent a boat for fishing. Another story, told in text form, concerns John Stone, a man who worked at a zoo and befriended a gorilla named Tombu; when Stone's wife began painting the gorilla, it escaped and caused chaos, leading Stone to eventually destroy the animal in a panic before realizing Tombu had been trying to communicate with him. Additional features include a wordless comic about a cat capturing a baby crook and another about a character pursuing a rabbit through underground layers of soil and rock.
