This issue contains two Wyatt Earp stories. In the first, Wyatt faces off against the fastest gunslinger in Kansas, Ben Thompson, who is holding up the town and threatens to kill Wyatt unless he draws his gun. In the second story, "Range Busters: The Miracle at Drover's Pass," a man named Karl Evers brings a railroad spur to the town of Cato, which the citizens celebrate. Wyatt investigates Evers, discovering he is a con artist who engineered the railroad project and has now absconded with five hundred dollars from Hiram Hart's mortgage, leading Wyatt to pursue him on horseback and retrieve the stolen receipt from the outlaw on the Hart Turnpike.
