“Law of the Six-Gun!”

In "Law of the Six-Gun!", Wyatt Earp #2 (1956) delivers a tense showdown between the notorious outlaw Rush and a new marshal determined to bring him to justice. With the clock ticking and the draw a deadly game, Rush vows to rid the town of the marshal in ten minutes—only to be thrown off by the man’s calm, deliberate act of writing a letter before facing him. Al Williamson’s dynamic art, both penciled and inked by him, brings the showdown to life, while John Severin’s cover captures the grit and danger of the frontier.

Rush, the fastest man on the draw, hears that a new marshal is coming to town to take him in for murder, and Rush swears that he'll give the peacemaker ten minutes before he runs him out of town with his gun. But, when the two come face to face, the marshal takes time out to write a letter first which literally unnerves Yates.
