The New Warriors and X-Force prepare to invade the Gamesmaster's chalet to rescue their captured friends. Unfortunately, the Gamesmaster begins to control some of their minds and the heroes begin to bring one another down. With both teams fallen, the Gamesmaster declares the Younghunt over with himself as the victor. Paige Guthrie, the last one standing, turns the tables on the Gamesmaster and he allows both teams to go free while he begins to make future plans.
